Advocate Profiles

Our movement to build support for maternal health in The United Methodist Church relies heavily on the passion and leadership of our Healthy Families, Healthy Planet Ambassadors. These faith leaders have each attended a Healthy Families, Healthy Planet advocacy training and are working in their faith communities to educate others about global maternal health and mobilize them to take action. Over the last 3 years our Healthy Families, Healthy Planet Ambassadors have hosted more than 100 educational and advocacy events across the country and they continue to serve as powerful voices for access to family planning and maternal health in The United Methodist Church.
