Advocate: Irma Clark

Irma Clark

Dr. Irma Clark is a proven leader and advocate for woman in the church and the world. She serves as Director of Lay Servant Ministries for the Chicago Southern District of United Methodist Women and as Chair of the HIV/AIDS Task Force for the Northern Illinois Conference. She is also Vice President of the Episcopacy Committee for the North Central Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church. Since attending a Healthy Families, Healthy Planet Ambassador training in 2013, Irma has helped organize a regional Ambassador training in Peoria, IL, organized letter-writing events in Chicago, and attended in-district meetings with key Congressional offices in Illinois to advocate for women and girls.  Irma is a member of Hartzell Memorial United Methodist Church in Chicago.
